The Diving Bell and the Butterfly
Film24 finds takes a close up look at this film depicting the story of John Dominque Bauby. At the age of 43 Dominque sufferd a stroke that left him completely paralysed except for the use of his left eye, effectively imprisoning him in his own body. Using that eye he told the outside world what it was like to be trapped in a diving bell whilst his imagination continued to soar like a butterfly.
